B.    Diane updated number on History Book (8, 1 advertiser), Cookbook (4), Mugs (11), Utensil Jars (27), and Plates (0). Memorial Contribution (-$505), General Contributions Still coming in.

  1. Military Memorial

a.      Joe Mannino and Bill Peters attending to help us

b.     Gave them a general idea of what we wanted

c.      Looked at Ken’s sketch made at last meeting

d.     Looked at Jerry’s sample memorial pictures from Pennfield, PA

e.      Walkabout

1)     Committee walked out to the area where the memorial would be placed

2)     Looked over the bricks already donated

3)     Joe and Bill thought we needed a lot more

4)     Two potential sites considered

5)     Committee liked placing it at the corner of the lot in front of the pine tree

6)     Move it far enough from the tree for future growth

7)     Care not to interfere with well outlet to pavilion

8)     Put it at an angle so it could be seen from both the west and south roads

9)     Committee laid out stakes for reference

10) Need to level the area in front of the memorial
